The location is intimate and fun. I had great fun chatting with the other patrons while waiting for my table on the porch.
Food was an eye rolling WOW!
Soup to dessert on the sampler was $50. and worth every penny. Met the manager and chef and told both that their restaurant was like finding buried treasure.
Soup was squash over cornbread, yum.
Then muscles and sausage with a yellow, buttery sauce over it.
Plate after plate, delicious.
The University City BYOB Battle: Marigold is an EXCELLENT date restaurant. However, they have to contend with RX which is also in the vicinity.
Marigold is a little more refined and the help was a little more knowledgeable and curteous - all of which go a long way with this customer.
