part 1: If you ever read the menu at Farley's then you know the story of the sad orphaned child from a mother that was so poor that she left him in the bar where he was raised by the barkeeps. Well if you have not read the story you will have plenty of time if you stop in to try some food. Knowing this story then you know Chuck Farley would be proud, he came from such a poor family that they ate trash, and that is exactly what I was served tonight. If you enjoy paying $3 for an empty glass of soda, this is the place for you! Once our glasses were empty the waitress was considerate enough to leave them that way, luckily the food took so long to come out that the ice melted. So to put a positive spin on the beverage and service, you get a free glass of ice water with every $3 coke, once the ice melts! I guess the waitress was busy because we were the only two people eating in the restaurant at that time. I know for a fact she looked at our empty glasses repeatedly, but for some odd reason she choose not to refill them. Maybe she was going the extra mile with such attentive service to see if she would get a 20% tip.
