Ordered through their Carry Out door. Ordered a full salad and full Ravioli. Once I got it back to my hotel room, I realized why they offered half orders -- it's a LOT of food! Good food! And I can EAT! Worth the price, and even the Carry Out folks were friendly. I would recommend this place for business travellers such as myself.
Amazing, awesome, wonderful ! The place is really neat and the food is incredible. Take a look at the pics/autographs on the walls if you have a minute. The ONLY drawback is the price for Family Style. If you don't want to pay $50.00 a person ( including tax/tip) , then you don't want the Family Style dinner. But if you are ok with that, get ready to eat many, many plates of great food and maybe gain a pound or two ; )
One of the most enjoyable dinning experiences that I have ever had. Maggiano's Philly is a great place to enjoy a good glass of wine with a meal that you can sink your teeth into. The ambiance was very nice and clean, pretty red and white table clothes on the roomy tables. White linen napkins that are big enough to cover your whole lap and more. Everything, from the silverware and dinnerware, to the glassware, made this outing pleasurable. The wait staff are very attentive and knowledgable. I ordered the house favorites, chicken cacchitore (spelling?) which was served to me in an individual soup tourine, filled with chunks of tender chicken and wonder spices. The scent of rosemary, basil, tomato, onion, and other Italian spices filled the air when I lifted the lid off of the tourine. My friend ordered the four cheese ravioli, covered with pesto alfredo sauce with a touch of marinara for color. It was to die for.
Dessert was just as wonderful. We ordered the Italian cream puff stuffed with vanilla icecream covered in chocolate sauce, with homemade whipping cream on the side. What an ending to a beautiful dining experience.
It was "Gastronomic Heaven on Earth"!
