| About: | The Bayou seems to be more of a gutted townhouse than a tavern. The first floor ceiling, covered by pinned-up dollar bills, hovers over the 40-foot bar as barkeeps distribute their potables. Upstairs, a smaller bar room also purveys drinks at reasonable prices. Beer, wine and spirits are served with appetizers, sandwiches and munchies. Yuengling bottles (a popular local beer) are a good bargain. In season, they have a special on Maryland crabs by the dozen. |

decent: cheapest drinks on mainstreet, good food thats about it.
Kinda weak: I'm not sure what the deal is here if this place is struggling to make money, but including 18% gratuity on "All checks" and measured mixed drinks is a huge turn off to those of us who are/used to be in the business. Need to get the girls who are waitressing behind the bar and spice it up. Sounds like the other review written here was by the people who own it or work there, given the user name. Lame.
lots of fun: we always have a great time at the bayou. Cheap drinks, good specials and friendly staff. the food is excellent for being a bar
