User Rating: 3 out of 5 starsCakes are to DIE FOR!!!! But my goodness do some of the staff have such attitudes? Are we bothering them? Other than that I would give them a A+ but for personality and customer service..I would say C-. Management, you really need to talk to your staff. Their attitude will deter people from wanting to do business.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsDenise's is the best bakery in Philly! Everytime I throw a party or any other occasion that requires a cake, I go to Denise's. Their cakes are the best I have ever tasted. It just melts in your mouth. If you are looking for a good bakery, go to Denise's.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI am a baker, and I am very picky when it comes to buying baked goods. I discriminate on the "supermarket" birthday cakes. I just say, "No thank you." (and wish that I bought the cake myself) However, the first time that I tasted Denice's vanilla pound cake, all of my problems went away! I can/do appreciate excellent baking! I wish that I knew how to duplicate it! I just can't figure it out. When I tell people about thier pound cake, I have to say that the texture is like eating powdered sugar! Phenominal. I'm pretty sure that this recipe is gaurded under lock and key. You know what? I won't be suprised if it's not even written down! Oh my goodness, you will not be disappointed. Just know that the prices can be a bit much if you're ordering a large size, so slice small! Better yet, if you are having a party, you might want to pre-slice half of the cake, and put away the rest, because there won't be any left-overs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Most of the products at this bakery are very good. However The owner should work on her people skills! Not as pleasant as she could or should be. Her staff is excellent
I love the sweets, rolls and everything in the store,but the owner does need an attitude adjustment.She comes across like you,re bothering her if you have a question.Thank goodness the rest of her staff is polite.One last thing, NEVER FORGET WHERE YOU CAME FROM,It,s THE CUSTOMERS THAT MADE YOU FAMOUS
