User Rating: 2 out of 5 starsI was at the Aspen for brunch Saturday moring. We arrived as the retaurant was opening at 11:00am. There were three of us eating. The service was ok, but the food took forever and was horrible. I had the sausage gravy and biscuits. There was very lttle sausage and the gravy was runny and just gross. Another person had berry pancakes that came to the table black. They were honestly burnt beyond all recognition. How a restaurant would allow that quality of food to be sent to a table is unthinkable. The waitress was matter of fact about it but took the pancakes off the bill. The last person had the breakfast sandwich on a biscuit; which he enjoyed.
The place looks like it might be cool to have a few drinks at night, but I will never eat there again.

What a find!!!: My boyfriend and I went to Aspen as part of the "Bite and Fright" special with the Eastern State Prison. The offered menu seemed very appetizing. Upon our arrival, we were delighted with the service as soon as we walked in the door and the atmosphere. I cannot find one bad thing to say about any part of our three course dinners. We are definitly going to make regular visits to Aspen and want to spead our high accolades!
