User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI live in North Jersey and Govinda's is worth the two hour ride. Everytime I go to philly I eat at gourmet to go or Govinda's(owned by the same people). I really love the atmosphere and the food is amazing, even meat eaters would love it. I enjoy being able to walk into a restaurant and order without asking if there are animal products in it. I would recommend Govinda's to everyone visiting Philly.

My favorite restaurant in Philly bar none!: I love the food at this place, delicious, try the vegan chicken cheesesteak, unreal.
and only $6.50. They play good music, it's aplace where you'll find those in the know. Activists, vegetarians, ras tafarians, etc, a nice mileu of people, freindly casual environment at the Gourmet to go.
