Have awesome quesidillas and sandwiches, but stay away from the pizza! it is thin, not filling, and it has something the texture of saw dust on the crust,

We live just a couple of miles away in Thorndale and had never heard of Anthony's until we found their menu in our mailbox. My husband is Italian/American and South Philly born and raised. He's very picky about his Philly style hoagies, sandwiches and grinders. From Anthony's we ordered the Abruzzi on a Sarcone roll, a Philly cheese steak, a cheese steak hoagie and a Torino specialty sandwich. All of us were shocked to find that the sandwiches were absolutely incredible!! Fresh ingredients, perfectly seasoned, no "steakums"... the real deal instead, fresh rolls... just amazing. Every bit as good, and perhaps better, than you'd find in Philly. If you've ever eaten at Tony Luke's in Philly... Anthony's is even better and that is high praise indeed. I can't recommend this (more take out than eat in) restaurant enough. Amazing food, friendly staff... what a treat!!
