| About: | Opened in 1926, on the Avenue of the Arts, the Young Men's Jewish Association (YMJA) evolved into a place for intellectual exercise. Recently sold to The University of the Arts, it has a busy schedule of book lectures, chamber music recitals, original local music, dance classes, art and photography exhibits and film festivals. However, there are no athletic facilities available here and there is a charge for some of the Y's offerings. |
