Good food, flexible service: I've got a tough diet -- super low fat, no beef, chicken, pork etc. This has never stopped the good people at Country Garden from giving me a good meal. The portions are appropriate, the presentation somewhat Americanized, but, the, the customers are, well, American. The ingredients are always fresh and if you arrive for lunch after one thirty you are likely to see a family member preparing the green beans at the back of the restaurant. They don't re-use their oil and don't use MSG. There is no need. The food speaks for itself. Great place. The decor fits the price range, so no complaints.

Good Vegetarian Choices: I usually get the same dish when I go to this restaurant: Vegetarian Chicken, which is really bean curd (tofu) in sauce. The orange sauce for this dish is delicious.

Other good choices here are vegetable fried rice, vegetable lo mein and any of the eggplant dishes. I usually add some fried noodles on the side to add a crunch to the meal.

The food is ordinary Chinese, with quite a few very tasty vegetarian options to choose from.
