Henrys Cafe

Mundane? Over-priced? Credit Cards? How ridiculous!!! Henry's Cafe is the premier restaurant of all the Pottstown area. The prices are just right, portions are very generous, service is friendly, and the food is magnificent!!! I recommend the specials, which mostly consist of different fish and are constantly changing every weekend. All of the fish are fresh from the docks. The vegetables are sauteed to perfection. The atmosphere is very warm and cozy. The head chef and servers are extremely friendly and will introduce themselves to you. You can watch the head chef as he prepares your food. Pottstown has a real gem in Henry's Cafe. I live in the Mt. Airy section of Philadelphia and make the journey to Henry's fairly often. It is far better than most places in the city.
Go to Henry's Cafe and you will leave a happy person.

P.S. A message to the person complaining about credit cards......most nice BYOB's do not accept credit cards......but you wouldn't know that because it is not RED LOBSTER.

Go for the fish and chips: I found the fish and chips excellent, but the rest of the menu is mundane and pricy. It is annoying to have to remember to bring cash as they don't accept credit cards.

Really Enjoyed!: This is a welcome addition to Pottstown! I will admit that their menu is geared more towards the seafood lover which is disappointing because my fiance' does not like seafood so I can't go unless I am eating without him. My kids love it though and you can watch them cook your food which is another change of pace from Pottstown. If you like seafood or want to try something different - definitely put Henry's on your list!
