We were so excited about going to the caves. We bought our tickets and were lead up a steep path into a room for a movie. The room smelled like cats urine and it had rows of plastic chairs. I immediately thought oh boy this is going to be a disaster. The movie was a bit hokey but then we were lead out by a really sweet girl who was funny and energetic. She explained that she was going to be our guide and we began down into the cave. It was so cool, we liked it and our kids did too. She told us interesting facts, funny stories, and made it really great. It was a cool trip down into the earth! The tour was about 40 minutes long and was great for children, she told them to look for animal faces and such in the formations, which kept their interest, I would def. go there with an open mind, it might appear a bit run down but the real star of the show is the cave and it is really fantastic! We had a nice morning, it was a great thing to do on a rainy morning in PA!
We are going back, the kids loved it!
