I wanted to get an I-9 form (ID card-Drivers license-and SS Card for citizenship verification) notarized for a local job that's headquarters is out of state. This older man (employee) came over to help me with this and was rude, rude, RUDE!!! Let me explain...I had accidentally signed the I-9 before hand and he complained about that. I can understand that, but the way he complained was VERY rude. He said that I am to "not tell him I never got anything notarized before" and that I "know better than to do this," meaning signing it ahead of time I presume. I could have easily drove 2 mins to my house and printed off another copy and then taken it over to him...it's NOT a big deal. Like I do I-9's or get things notarized everyday so much that I know I am not to sign ahead of time and did this just to piss him off? After he said it I remembered but geeze, coem on guy?!?! He then did the notarizing anyway. Goofball. Apparently he just felt like bitching and trying to sound like some authority...he reminded me of a rent-a-cop. The funny part of this is that Mr. Rent-A-Cop was not sure how to do the I-9 form. Everyone who ever had a job in their life (including him) has filled out an I-9 form. You simply write the name of the Notary (His employer), the two forms of ID the customer (me) is showing and then stamp it with your companies notary seals. He stamped it alright-put the written seal right over top printed parts of the form and the stamp can not be read. Also he did the raised seal in the same spot which makes it hard to, if not impossible, to read as well. Apparently my punishment for signing it ahead of time. On the good side I will say he was fast, but he was oh so arrogant. Now, if this company I am starting to work at rejects this form then I will have to pay him a visit again and have him redo it. I will be expressing that they can not read it and asking WHY he did it like this is the first place...seeing as he is apparently the Notary 'god' of these parts. If I do have to go back I will be amending this review. I do not recommend going to this place. But, overall , it did only cost 5 bucks so what can one really expect?
