User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI am fairly new to Delaware; my former home being in a more metropolitan area where the competition/quality ratio was fairly impressive. I was pleased to find the Dover Safeway because it reminded me of some of the best markets from my home town. Good selection, very fresh produce, delicious pastry area... and the flower shop is one of the best I've seen in a food market. Pricey, yes, but well worth the extra pennies.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsThe store is always very clean, the produce is always fresh and well-tended, and they are usually very quick to open another register when there is a line of 3 or more people. They have a good selection of everything and have some very good specials. The staff are helpful and friendly and apparently well-trained. I've just never had a bad experience at this store.
