User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI agree Abit Pricey but the food was GREAT. The Wife and I went there last yr for the Nascar race and Heard on the Sirius Sat Program for Nascar that the one Host talk about the resturant. Well On a whim we went and Believe me the food was GREAT. You will not go away HUNGRY from the place. Granted like the other people said its a bit Pricey but the food is Fresh not like the store stuff. We tried the Crab cake and believe me it was enough for the 2 of us. the size of it was about 2 of what you get at the store. the staff was friendly. Going back again this yr.

Elva has most likely never made a crab cake in her life.Im sure she ate a bunch though. Oh and by the way Sambo's is over priced and I bet they don't use real crab meat for their expensive crab cakes!

You obviously are not from around here, because if you were you would know that the crab cakes are all lump crab meat and are definitely not overpriced! They are very good, coming from someone who knows what the difference is between a good crab cake and a horrible one! Unlike in some chain restaurant with claw meat and lots of filler if even real crab at all! You must like to eat at places like RED LOBSTER! 
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI have tons of memories from the tavern. My grandfather is Sambo Burrows. I remember walking up the ramp on the side to go right into the kitchen. It was my second home especially since iw as always at my grand parents right across the street. I would recommend the tavern to EVERYONE! You may not be able to get in till 21 but you can still order togo. OH... and make sure you try the crab cakes, i think elva still makes them like my memom.

You, as well, must not think it was too pricey being that you are going back again this year! They are hardly pricey! And yes they are very good!
