My whole family loves this place. We buy our plants there in the early spring and there's always a good selection...some herbs you'll never find at the big places. And such a great place to find fresh veggies for good value. Meats too, and lots of turkey sausage and ground turkey. Treasures and books abound on both the inside and outside tables. Definitely the best place to get your vacume cleaner repaired or to find a part for a vintage model. Just a fantastic chunk of Dover, Delaware....and now that they open on Saturday's, Spence's is even better.
It is an interesting experience. A little of this and a little of that. We love going for the Amish goods: bakery, fresh meat, stuffed pork chops, ice cream and of course a pulled pork sandwich. I love the Book Bin which carries every kind of book there could be at the lowest prices ever! You have to try it at least once.
A True Delaware Experience: I love the Amish foods and open air market. I always find fresh produce and almost anything else I am looking for or not looking for. Ture bargins to be found and everyone has a happy feel about them.
