I haven't been to Shang Hai for over a year, so perhaps I should give it a second chance, but the last time I was there the food was JUST TERRIBLE. Some too hot, some too cold, the hot & sour soup tasted really "off" and everything that was fried had a horrible taste - I think they REALLY needed to change the oil in the deep fryer. The service also left something to be desired.
It's a shame since it's the only true sit-down (vs. takeout) Chinese restaurant in Milford.
User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsI am originally from Philly. This place has by far the Best Chinese food I've ever had.Everything is made'fresh' Even the chicken stock made fresh every morning. A well stocked small little bar while you wait for your food and chat with the owner who is very entertaining. Nice Little dining area also. If you've tried the rest now try the best! You won't be disappointed.
