Nice lunch: Our first real trip to DC and after taking pictures in front of the White House which is really close by. Pershing square is across the street and makes a nice foreground even with the traffic. The outside dining was very inviting and attractive. We had the rigatoni ($17) and the duck salad ($19). I also ordered the green beans on the side ($9) but never got them. The rigatoni with lump crab was excellent and my wife and 10 year old daughter finished it off completely. I had a taste and it was really good, crab was nicely done and not overcooked. I had the duck salad and it was excellent also. A bit light so if you are a heavy eater pick something else. The duck comfit was perfectly done and tender, the salad was on the side with slices of duck mixed in. All-in-all a very good meal in a nice setting.

Always a good meal.: Great Food in a historic establishment. Look out for spies in the hotel lobby.
