Try Somewhere Else: I've been left scratching my head at all the good reviews this place gets, and my best guess is that it's just people who don't eat Thai food very often. This place is not good. I went there for lunch on 8/14/07, and it wasn't "bad," but it certainly wasn't good or close to authentic. The green curry had broccoli and cauliflower (which doesn't really exist in Thai food), but not Thai egplants - or even Western eggplants. This is an essential ingredient in the dish. Also, the coconut milk was too thin and there wasn't enough of it. The jasmine rice potion was way too tiny, as well. And it was barely spicy at all. The pad thai noodles were the wrong size (too small) and not soft enough, and the tofu was hardly anywhere to be seen. I'd recommend walking down the street a few blocks (and paying $1/$2 more) at Kanlaya, or even try Burma.

A FAVORITE: I found this little gem when I started working in the Art Deco building. Thai was a new taste for me, but I was fast becoming a Pad Thai fiend. I've sampled several of their dishes, and everything is wonderful. The staff is pleasant and personable, and extremely accomodating. They even greet me by name and typically know by my carry out order when I call that it's me. I enjoy this place immensely!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE!: When you walk in, you are immediately greeted by a BEAUTIFUL MURAL! It's a sunset, and it just takes you in! Located in NW DC, near Metro Center and many firms, if you want to get a seat at lunch without a long wait, I suggest you call and make a reservation! The food is sooooo tasty! My faves are the Wonton Soup [they use a mixture of chicken and shrimp inside the wonton, so different] and the Fried Rice. I have to say that their Drunken Noodles are too watery, not spicy and leave something to be desired. The service is a little cold and at times can be inattentive. BUT OVERALL I LOVE THIS PLACE!
