Best Lebanese food I have ever had. This is very high quality in terms of the food and the service. If you've never had this type of food before, do try it out, everyone will find something on the menu.
The best Middle Eastern food in DC: The restaurant just won a 2007 award for the consistency of the quality of its food & service. It's a popular, family-owned restaurant, offering an authentic touch of Lebanese culinary culture. I'm most familiar with the DC and the Falls Church locations. The Washington location is the most stylish, with a wood-burning oven and woven prayer rugs making the dining room feel almost traditional. The food features what you expect in a Lebanese restaurant, but just much better quality than anywhere else in DC. You can feast on kebobs, grilled meats and seafood plus tremendous.vegetarian dishes featuring favorites like eggplant and chickpeas. The hummus, kibbeh, and pastry-wrapped spinach pies are not to be missed. I love this place..
Excellent: Have frequented this authentic food over the past year and it is always delightful. My favorite is the lamb. I highly recommend the Lebanese Taverna.
