I like this bookstore because of their author events. They are informative, exciting, and the guest list is like a Who's Who of the Nation's capital. Get on their email list and get invited..especially for the Saturday night events.
The koooolest of them all!: P&P isn't a coffee house - per se- it's more like a coffee-cultural emporium! It's a cross between a 'poet's corner', coffee house, w/ great food too.. try the Catfish, or check their listings of author talks, poet readings. A political mini-book store tops off the one place i always take out-of-town friends.
