Yo! This is my spot!: This discribes part of me to a T. This place has a upstairs bar and downstairs bar.The specials are always nice.The food is excellent, handsdown the best vegetarian chilli in the area.Be warned this place have a slight biker atmospere.If thats not you, try the upstairs bar.Now this place has live shows a sometimes charge a cover,but it is still the same place.Sometimes you can find the owner at the bar too. Now thats what I'm talking about.

This place rocks: This is one of the few bars in DC where you can meet real, down-to-earth peeps!!!

Punk Bar, Punk Music: Just like the punk ideal, every person is their own unique individual, all are welcome at Asylum. Bikers, metros, punks, finely dressed women, and sweater wearing no good beat down fools are all present. The sign on the wall may say 'no smoking before 10:30' but rules are made to be broken. A small venue packed with people, cheap whiskey and lound music fuel the aura of the perfect dive bar. It's a $5 cover for live music, but it will be good and loud. Asylum is the one must for any Adams Morgan bar crawl.
