User Rating: 4 out of 5 starsMy son and I ate here after visiting the zoo. We ate on the balcony which was really nice. The staff was very friendly and our food came out promply. The rice and bean portion was skimpy, especially on the childrens plate. The prices were good. It doesnt compare to some of the mexican restaurants I've eaten at in Texas, but its the best mexican that I've had in this area. It was a good atmosphere with good food for a great price. I will visit again, and I love meals with good quality/ so thats a good thing

I've been to this restaurant several times and the food is always great. The service can stand some improvement but over all they try very hard to make your time there enjoyable. The drinks here are reasonably priced and they do make good drinks. I would recommend this restaurant for its food and atmosphere.

The food was wonderful but didn't seem to matter after the way my friend and I were treated. The two tables around us received way more attention since they ordered more. The waitress didnt come back to check on us and even allowed a third person to sit at a table that was clearly meant for only two people. This blocked the only exit route out of the restaurant. The waitress handed us the check and didnt ask us if we wanted dessert. I would NOT go there again. Guapos in Tenleytown has just as high of quality of food with much friendlier service.
