From nomadic Arab tribes, Ottoman Turks, Egyptians, Greek and French rulers, Neyla's food melds the best of all the Mediterranean cultures. Vegetables, salads, grilled meats and fish are set off by light, and subtly spiced sauces. User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsWow! We were there for an hour and a half on Saturday night and it felt like it was just perfect. The staff made us feel right at home really went out of their way to make us feel special. We never felt rushed and the place was hopping. Bravo to the management staff and the chef's. This place is on the top of my list. What a hidden gem!

I went to Neyla last night ,with two girlfriends we had the chance to enjoy various mezzas but we are going back to try the Afternoon Seduction menu. The food was excellent and the service was very attentive. Definitely try the Arabesque Martini or the Mango-Mojito only $10 !!!! Its a very good price, sooo unique and delicious!!! The atmosphere was amazing, very good looking crowd and WE LOVED THE MUSIC. We had a wonderful experience, the manager also asked about our experience which I appreciated. Definitely worth it. We liked the concept of the ladies nite every Thursday $7 Drinks.
We all enjoyed the entire experience and will return Thursday!!!!!May be sooner." -

Best Mediterranean food I've had in The District. You will be surrounded by beautiful décor and if you know Mediterranean food, youâll love what the chef has to offer. The food is truly amazing and the service is decent. I would give it four stars BUT, I find that the restaurant is always overbooked on the weekends; which can sometimes lead to busy servers and less than adequate service.
The last time I went I had to wait 20 minutes to be seated (and I had made reservations a week in advance). To really enjoy the ambiance without the stress of a long wait, I recommend going during the week.
However, with all that said, do not be discouraged⦠the food is worth the wait!
