    I ate at Anna Marias back in 1990 the place is still on my mind to this day. There is no other place to go to to eat great Italian food in D.C. The up to date reviews prove my words true. I always mention this place when someone asks of a good place to eat, Once I came back in 2003 to bring a few friends but there was a line out the door. Never forgot the mellow atmosphere and the delicious food.

    A group of 8 of us had dinner at Anna Maria's last evening. Owner Lenny Pace made us feel right at home. His wait staff was very helpful. I tried the spicy calamari and was thrilled. The chicken saltimbocca was also an enjoyable recommendation. For the DC area, the value was very good. Eight of us ate for almost $100 less than 3 of us did a few months back at I Ricchi.

    THE Best: Old fashioned great service. Cozy and romantic! Great pizza and pasta; and THE BEST BREAD. Yum!
