| About: | Located on the DC side of the Maryland-District line, Takoma Station has long been hosting some of the finest local jazz acts in the area. This street-level establishment glows with blond wood and soft lighting. The large crowds that gather here can be seen from the street through a large plate-glass window. Although jazz is usually the featured entertainment, R&B and reggae acts also appear regularly. There is no cover charge but sneakers and athletic wear are strictly prohibited. A full menu is available and includes burgers, sandwiches and the like. |

User Rating: 5 out of 5 starshit Takoma Station every Friday to see Suttle Jazz. The band is off the hook. Last Friday they hit Usher's new joint "Love in the Club" and the place went balistic. The band is off the chain and for me to be 30+ yrs that says a lot. Takoma Station is a nice spot to chill and make friends but get there early if you want to have a table and a good space. The drinks are ALWAYS ON POINT,banging-food delicious (especially the Chicken Cesar Salad)
