About:With its eccentric jungle decor and two bars serving more than 25 beers on tap, this is a fun place to hang out. The laid-back crowd settles into booths on the lower level or around one of the bars. Meanwhile, the juke box kicks out hip and energetic tunes. The pizza is half-price during happy hour, which runs from 4p to 7:30p on weekdays. There is also a tasty chili, burgers, veggie burgers, fish and chips, as well as other pub grub.

    One of DC's best Dives: This is a spacious, multi-room bar that attracts a laid back crowd of mid 20s to early 30s white people (to be frank). The service is the bars weakest point, as the hipster staff often seem too disaffected, or hungover to really care, or they are just understaffed - perhaps both. That aside, the beer selection is superb and reasonably priced, making for a reliable and convenient (right on Dupont Circle) outing. I rarely think to go here other than happy hour...

    Lots of Beer: This is an interesting place, decorated with fish and mosquito nets, wooden boats, animal prints, etc. They have about 30 different beers on tap and some of the best appetizers you could imagine.
