| About: | DC Improv books local and national comedians; several comic giants, including Robin Williams, Jerry Seinfeld and Rosie O'Donnell, have brought the house down. This is a large club, with over 50 tables scattered in front of the stage. Shows often sell out, especially for national acts, so it is wise to buy tickets in advance. The menu includes items such as salads and Mexican entrees. Beer, wine and cocktails are available as well. |

John is a riot...laughs from start to finish...you could almost see his"cherub like demeanor"!!
I LOVE the place, LOVE the performers/shows, however, the place is TOO small & cramped. I get emailed when a new show is coming up & I was so dissapointed to see that from the time i got the email (via my cell)to the time i got to wk in the morning that the seats for Carlos Mencia were sold out & he was only doing one show day/time : ( The place is toooo small! Can't fit enough people..time to upgrade people.
Never again: This was a really unimpressive comedy spot. ONLY reason i stayed was cause Dave Chappelle was there. The acts themselves are great but the facility and service is horrible! Ok anyways, anyone who has ever been to the DC Improv knows that it's a damn death trap! It's down under the street level, and is cramped, b/c they try and fit an excessive amount of people in a small ass space. Another thing is the sevice...qq's, just freakin awful! There customer service is terrible, they are rude and just non-helpful. I ordered a drink twice and each time the server got it wrong both times!
