About:	Established in 1940 to preserve the scene of two major Civil War battles, this five thousand acre park is the site of the first and second Battles of Manassas. Visitors can be entertained at the park by demonstrators bringing history to life with dramatic performances of the epic battles, as well as exploring the historic terrain where men fought and died for their beliefs a century ago.
