Finest hobby shop I've done business with. The staff here know what they are talking about and take the time to make sure you get what you are looking for. These guys have everything for the helicopter lover (my personal jones) plus R/C plane and car stuff galore. Whenever either (or both) of my sons come to visit, the Hobby Hanger is a must see. They both got the heli bug there thanks to the folks who work there, and a vast selection of kits, ready to fly, and (as important) spare parts for the inevitable accident. If you are new to the hobby or have been doing it for years, you owe yourself a visit.

Waited for over an hour for someone to help me at the store - even after asking the some 6+ employees standing around twiddling their thumbs, playing with products in the store and hand-held computer games. When I did get someone to pay attention to me, they directed me to a guy behind a counter. I started talking with him and then his cell phone rang, he took a personal phone call and jabbed for 20 minutes on the phone (while I waited patiently) before hanging up and informing me he wasn't even working that day and just happened to be in the store but couldn't help me. So, after an hour and a half, I left. I came back 2 weeks later and decided to give the place a second chance but was immediately informed that I couldn't be helped because the product I brought in was an Internet purchase and they didn't have time to help me (since I didn't buy it from them). At least they responded to me a little quicker but needless to say, I won't be buying anything at this store, will not recommend them to anyone, and hope they learn a little customer service before they go out of business (which won't hurt anyone by the look of things).

I have been going to this shop for 8 years they are always busy, and sometimes under staff but at least they have a staff. They have the most knowledgeable staff in the area and each employee has a different expertise, you won’t find that in any other shop around here. I find it hard to believe you asked 6 people and no one would help you. You say you bought it off the internet and you want them to fix it for you, why not call the place you bought it from and have them fix it. Probably something they don't carry anyway (no parts) or you didn't like the labor charge they quoted you. They won't be going out of business because I Support my Local Hobby Shop. Good Luck

Why do the reviews and comments here keep disappearing? I don't understand. What are you trying to hide? Also, Hobby Hangar's website makes the statement of how they are a full-service On Site Repairs & Setup facility. quoting the website : "Our on-site experts will help you with your most complicated issue, whether you need us to test fly your brand new T-Rex or to replace the feathering shaft on your Synergy, our staff will provide you with a customer experience that is unrivaled in the hobby industry. So, whether you are a novice looking to get started in the hobby or are an accomplished 3D pilot, we are always here to help." Well, you didn't help me. And you didn't help me twice! So, what do you have to say now? In my opinion, your customer service is the pits!

Hi, I work at Hobby Hangar. I am very surprised to hear that no one helped you in a hour. usually someone will greet you when you walk in the door and ask you if you need help, or ask you within a few minutes while you are wondering around the store. we do offer service unrivaled in the hobby industry, we have on of the largest stores on the east coast, and of the people that work there know their stuff and are happy to help. at almost any hobby shop all they know is where to find the parts, not anything about the parts. if you bring in something you bought from the internet and are told that we cannot help you because you did not buy that here and we don't have any parts for it, I don't think that is not unreasonable. I do hope you don't write us off because you had a bad experience one time, we are almost always very quick to help you and will help you will pretty much anything, aslong as you bought it here.
