Hog N Claw Catering Service

EXCELLENT! DELICIOUS! My husband and I used Hog N Claw for our outdoor wedding in Purcellville, VA and they were fabulous! Our guests raved over the food! The caterers arrived early, and by the time our first guests arrived, there were fresh, cooked onsite appetizers ready for their enjoyment. Dinner followed immediately after the short, civil ceremony and our guests raved over the food!
We ordered hush puppies, deviled eggs, spiced shrimp, and Mexican dip for appetizers. For dinner we had a whole hog, BBQ chicken, pastas salad, coleslaw, baked beans, potato salad, vegetable kabobs, fresh fruit tray, brownies and sweet tea. Patricia’s prices are very reasonable, and I can’t say enough about their food.
I initially found their site on the web, called Patricia Thomas and arranged a tasting. She had photograph albums and letters of accommodation from previous events they had catered (which was very helpful) My husband and I ended up not only booking them after the first tasting, but purchasing over $100 worth of food, t-shirts and BBQ sauces to take home with us.
I never had a problem getting hold of her (which was very comforting for a bride!) and Patricia was very accommodating to all of our last minute changes and requests, and made very helpful suggestions.
The gentlemen who showed up to do the catering/carving were friendly, handsome and courteous. I even managed to DRAG them out on the dance floor!
I highly recommend Hog N Claw to anyone, either to eat in their restaurant, or to use for a catered event. Very professional, Very delicious!

Love it!: The food is great! Best BBQ catering around by far. The service is excellent, the food arrived on time and steaming hot. EVERYTHING tasted wonderful, everyone at the event was like this is the best they had. The Owner and staff are very friendly and helpful in ensuring you make the right selections for your event. AGAIN, the food was declicious!!! I had so much food left over, people were fighting to take stuff home it was so good.. :)

Pig-pickin' par excellence: Can't say enough good things about the food and service--called them for a party of 50+ and had Troy come with the grill, a whole pig and hand-pulled pork. Since then, at least three of the people in attendance have called them for parties--the food was that good. I'm still hearing "Where did you find them?" Especially liked the apples and the corn souffle, but have also heard guests who raved about the baked beans. A little bit of North Carolina here in Virginia.
