User Rating: 1 out of 5 starsBought a 60" tv from best buy, and soon after I lost picture. I called best buy and they told me I had to wait two weeks before they could get someone could get to my house. I didn't think that was right considering I paid a lot of money for that tv.

Beware shoppers. Geek Squad will be fixing tv's that are purchased with a service contract. When you buy the tv the cashier will tell you they will be there in 24hrs if the tv breaks down, but thats not true. You will wait two weeks and thats just for them to look at it and find out whats wrong. Then the next visit they will hopefully fix it. I think thats aweful. There are other tv repair services in the area that will fix it in less than a week. Especially during football season, who wants to wait!!!! Thats not right!

I recently had a service contract for geek squad to fix my television and when they came to my house the young man seemed he didn't know what was going on. He called someone for help but wasn't successful. After waiting nearly two weeks I was very upset that best buy would send someone to my house who is supposed to be knowledgable about tv's and take care of it, but instead left and told me he would call. He called the next day and told me they would be at my house in another two weeks and I called a manager and they got another local company to take of it and it only took one visit. It turns out I needed my lamp replaced.
