Taken Advantage Of: I took my car in, still under warranty to get cd player fixed, and rear speakers were not functioning. They replaced the cd player, but speakers were not under warranty due to someone installing aftermarket stereo then cutting into the cars wires when they removed it. So, they called and told me it would be $520 at the most and were very pushy about having them fix it for me. I told them I was thinking about getting an aftermarket stereo for that much, and the people installing it could just take care of the rear speakers then. They kept pushing and pushing making it sound like only they could fix it, and the stereo shop would charge me too. Since I don't know much about speakers, wiring or any of that I felt very vulnerable and taken advantage of when I ended paying them $420.00 for them to splice and connect wiring for the rear speakers. They never told me they charged about $100 for labor, and the parts were only $30.00. They had to fix my radio free of charge so they had to get money for something, and they targeted me. Two thumbs down.
There IS A Difference: Car buying can be fun!!!: Two words: team work!.. Internet quote pulls you in (shop around, Koons was the lowest; about $2000 less than others even for the hybrid), but its the team that makes you stay. Internet Manager John (who was also our salesman, no rush, pleasant personality, great test drive, knows his stuff) followed by a no-nonsense, helpful and hardworking sales manager (want extra mile? see Peter!) and a straight talking, polite and courteous finance manager (thought they were extinct? then ask for Chris)...thats a triple! Add a great car -we bought the Accord hybrid-, you have a homerun! And thats what I call a great game... Also grateful to Matt for driving my color selection down from Maryland late at night and bringing it all together flawlessly during delivery...
I wish everyone a painless car-buying experience; I found mine in Manassas... :-)
Bad Experience: I was very interested in purchasing a used Honda. The salesman I had was very rude and started with a totally ridiculous price and came down a very small amount but wouldn't even discuss a lower price. I had done research before going in and knew he could go lower. The car had a very poor clean up job but mainly the salesman was the problem. He was a very poor salesman.

i went to the used car lot to look at a hummer ... the sales agent stated that i could take the car and show it to my wife who was at work .. i had already presented my identification and my work id to the sales agent.. the agent returned moments later and stated that the sales manager wanted him to go along with me to my wifes work which was about 5 miles away... i am a law officer and i had already confirmed my identity to the business.. i told the sales gent to tell the manager to take some customer service courses and left the business... just too arogant is all i have to say.. i have bought my hummer from a different dealer and would not shop at this business....
