I went to Cramer's yesterday to pick up a violin for myself - got a major deal on a brand new, full-size violin. I'm guessing the gentleman that helped me was the owner, but I didn't catch his name. He was super nice and friendly, helped me pick out some violin books so I can re-teach myself how to play (I played in high school over 20 years ago), tuned it up and let me give it a test play before I bought it.
I will DEFINITELY shop with Cramer's again and will refer anyone looking for music and/or art supplies to them. It can be a little difficult to find, but well worth the effort.
Thanks!
Hey you gotta check this place out: I went there to get some pens for anime work and nobody had the stuff at all so I figured why not and they had all these rapidograph pens and artpens and markers and more ink than I've seen in a while except maybe LA. I mean, this place is packed with stuff like drafting scales that I wish I knew about them when I was taking a class. And the thing is they have this music store too that had like a million books. Hey I talked with Steve and he owns it and he's cool and knows all this stuff about everything so I asked him if he had any good books on anime and like he pulled these books out and talked about character development and all and you wouldn't think he was into that stuff but he was and then I go and ask bout Pink Floyd The Wall...and he finds the tab book and then we start talkin bout the movie. I mean I was blown away and then this girl comes in and she works for him and we all start talking about all this stuff and other ppl come and go and their helping them too and it was like I was special and we even traded email addresses too. Ok so I thought the chic was hot lol but yeah I'm gonna go there all the time now. It's kinda tricky to find but it's worth it. Hey 5 stars man!
