I have been training at Wargo's Martial Arts USA for almost five years. Sr. Master and Mrs. Wargo are both excellent instructors and great role models for both juniors and adults. They have created an environment of positive learning and positive attitudes. Not only do you learn the martial arts, but you learn the mental skills to make good decisions, set high goals and achieve success.
Wargo's Martial Arts, USA is a wonderful place to train for all ages.
Wargo's has brought so much to our family. Myself and my children have been taking classes there for six months now. I have never met more dedicated, caring people. My experience with the martial arts covers 4 different schools, and 2 different styles. I never really understood the importance of finding the right martial arts school- until we landed here. My children and I receive so much more than martial arts training- which by the way is top notch. They learn about things that they can apply to their everyday life. Things like having goals, respect for others, respect for themselves, focus, and so much more. They learn about leadership and to have confidence in themselves.
Senior Waster Wargo and Mrs. Wargo give so much of themselves in everything they do. They have so much skill, knowledge, and integrity that training under them is a honor, and I am so much better a person, mother, and wife since being here. Being students at Wargo's is a continual learning experience and I am stronger and wiser for it.
Great School: Master Wargo inspires his students. He just became a Senior Master after he earned his 7th degree Black Belt last year. I think that this encourages his students, as well as demonstrates his teachings, such as everyone should continue to learn and that each rank is not a destination but a continuing journey. I am impressed with his level of commitment to his school, his students and to his principles. My daughter has been fortunate to have been able to enroll in his school and to study under him. He has taught her much in the years she has been there and I look forward to his further instruction. She has grown as a person and continues on lifeâs journey with a knowledge base of life skills and teachings from Master Wargo. I have seen tremendous development in her confidence and leadership skills.
Master Wargo has allowed my daughter to compete in some outside tournaments from which she has been able to demonstrate the teachings of the school. It would be easy for me to say that I enjoy when she wins in these competitions but my greatest joys have come from events outside of the rings. I have seen my daughter comfort another competitor who didnât do as well, she has cheered and encouraged other girls in her ring and she has proudly represented her school through her actions. I feel that the credit for these demonstrations of positive regard for others comes from her parents and the teachings of Master Wargo. In talking with my daughter about tournaments, she expresses that she enjoys testing herself against others from various parts of the country and in developing new friendships. She has gotten to know these other girls as friends not as competitors. It is often stated âTo compete is to winâ and that is what my daughter has shown me by her winning attitude in the game of life by developing positive healthy relationships with others who share a common interest in TKD.
Over the years that I have known Master Wargo I have had many opportunities to talk with him. He lives what he teaches. He is interested in the development and growth of his students and in having them take these teachings with them in their daily lives. While other instructors may open additional schools he has chosen to focus more on the quality of his instruction and his instructors, quality not quantity. You can tell by the way he deals with others how much he cares about his students. He encourages parents to stay involved in the school so that they know what is being taught and what is going on in the lives of their children.
