I can say one good thing...order breakfast. The waitstaff during breakfast [on a weekday] is nice, friendly and attentive. It is usually hot.
The bad? The restaurant is old, dirty and for anything other than breakfsst you aren't quite sure of the freshness/sale date of the food. Although nice it is hard to overcome the language barrier [for lunch/dinner] to order something on the side [as thousand island on the side of our rueben] and having children of our own we still don't much appreciate the owner's [?] or [?]waitress' child hanging at our table the enitre time we ordered through eating. She was cute, but we had other matters [like eating/chatting/watching our own kids] to attend to. We could never figure out whom she belonged to and this happened on more than one occasion.
We tried their sister restaurant on Dranesville Road [in Sterling] one time and the service was so atrocious [the waitress yelled and threw toast] we will never visit another Omia's again.
Hard to find but worth the adventure!: The location due to all the construction going on made this difficult to find. When we eventually did arrive the wait staff took a while to get to us. When the finally did take our orders, the food came fast and was delicious!! Not Greek or Italian, the Middle Eastern run restaurant really know how to cook Italian and Greek food!!! The price was reasonable and the food was phenominal! I will definitely be going back in June when I come up again!
What a wonderful surprise: I walked into this restaurant after driving past it 50 times. I wished I had stopped before. I got take out for dinner and the stuffed Shells were the best I have ever had. The Italian dressing on the salad was perfectly balanced. And it came with garlic bread!!
The 2 Great Falls Italian Deli's are not even in the running. Sterling is the bomb!
