This restaurant looks silly and overpriced compared to the On The Border just down the road. The food is fine but the prices are high. Maybe because it's in the town center. On The Border is outside the town center and is a far superior Mexican food restaurant.
Good Tex-Mex North of Mason Dixon: Hailing from TX, this place is part of a sizeble chain that serves very good fajitas and grill items. Although compared to their TX siblings this place just does not taste the same. However it is still good, just not great.
Pricey, but worth it on occasion: My wife and I have been going to Rio Grande for the better part of 15 years. The food is always perfect, the service is always great and the portions are always large. This place is popular and it may take a while to get a table. But once you do the service is quick. Our only gripe is that the prices are way too expensive, but we still keep going back. Let me warn you in advance by saying that Rio Grande has THE BEST beef fajitas you will ever taste. Once you eat them at Rio Grande, you will never be satisfied ordering them at another restaurant again. Don't say I didn't warn you! We love this place enough to make it highly recommended.
