by far the best pool hall in the area if you are looking to improving your game . besides having one of the tightest table to practice on ,they also have by far the most top players around . the owner and staff are very friendly and make you feel right at home. its hard to form a good opinion on any place unless you go there a few times. if you want to see where your game is , they have a thursday night tournament that is second to none. its draws some of the best talent in the area on any giving thursday. some of the top pros to have played in the tournament are Mike Davis, Ga Young Kim , Gabe Owens all whom you have seen on TV. a regular Brandon Shuff placed in the top 25 in 2008 at the us open 9 ball championship. thats the type of players you will get to play against for 20 dollars in the thursday night tournament.
When I first started going it was years ago because my best friend was 20 and couldn't get into other pool halls; then it was a really good place with good tables. The menu is very limited and not very good and then it became the music and atmosphere became less American with music that wasn't even in English (playing over and over, etc.). And the people there at night have no respect for other players, but the people during the day could teach you a lesson or too; and it is usually not very well staffed especially during the day (the staff consists of 1 person running the register, giving out the tables, taking your orders, cooking your orders and then delivering your orders).
The atmosphere is awful! It looks as if someone threw a bunch of pool tables into a warehouse. The place is dirty. I was afraid to order food here. No one greeted us when we walked in. My date and I ended up leaving and finding a different pool hall.
