I posted this previously, but it doesn't look as if it linked to the page for some reason, so I am reposting it again.
I agree completely with the previous comments. I found Joe Thomas to be very honest, friendly and straight-forward. His bid was the lowest of the three companies that I called. The job was completed beautifully and quickly. Joe even sprayed some poison ivy that was growing on my fence and gave me tips on how to keep the wood from rotting. I highly recommend Thomas Fence, and promised Joe that when I get ready to redo my deck (probably next summer), he will be the first person that I call.
Joe Thomas is an exceptionally honest and straight-forward local businessman. While he doesn't have the advertising resources of his competitors, his company does beautiful work, and his bid came in the lowest of the 3 I interviewed. He was warm and helpful without being hard-sell. I especially appreciated that his approach never felt patronizing (despite the fact that I'm a younger female home owner). His crew was excellent; they were there on time, accomplished what they promised, offered good advice, and were respectful and easy to work with. In short, Thomas Fence provided outstanding service and a great fence. Highly recommended to all my neighbors here in SoMD.
mmorris: we had thomas fence do work for us several times and he is honest and done what he says, and also my job is beautiful . would recommend him very highly. gives the best price the first time.

I realized after-the-fact, that someone might be confused about the poison ivy comment, so just wanted to clarify. There was one side of my old fence that didn't need to be replaced (and Joe was honest about that fact as well). That's where the poison ivy was grown.
