A quiet friendly family movie theatre. Of course, it needs some renovation (loosing the wall cover under the screen in one of the theatres) but overall I'll go back and go back. I definitely prefer it over the crowded one in Arundel Mills, Oh boy people there would not shut up.

It also shows some international films (indian) which I don't know where else you can find those. By the way I an not Indian.

Keep up the good work - just clean up a bit.

Laurel Cinema is the only truly family-friendly theatre left in this area. True, it's showing its' age, but it's just as clean as the overcrowded mega-theatres and the lines are much shorter. After many, many visits we've never had any unpleasant encounters like another reviewer reports. On the contrary, we've often been greeted by the manager (how novel!) and love the concessions, which are much cheaper and fresher than the big competition. Best of all for toddler-families like ours, the theaters aren't so sardine-packed that we have to hustle the little guys out every time they chatter about the movie. Prices not posted? I think the negative reviewer that spewed this disinformation did it on behalf of the slick mega-cinemas...
