This is a family operated business, their prices are very competitive, their mechanic work is excellent. They have NEVER failed to solve an issue for me and I have had three boats parked, slipped or serviced there over the last 10 years. Although the management and employees may seem a bit curmudgeonly at times, they are a three generation marina family of traditional bay watermen. That's how things work in Southern MD. The Cathers are good people and they run an honest business.

This marina is run down, lacks good facilities, amenities are non existant, and although the owners know there stuff and their mechanic work can be good, they are expensive, and over charge if they can get away with it on a regular basis. If your going to buy something from these guys, you'd better price it all out and get a second opinion. There are better slips to be had, friendlier service and honesty else where:) Check around, your better off somewhere else.

The owners are competent and they do watch out for the boats in the marina. They also have a vast store of local knowledge. Rates are reasonable as well.
