I have my two children at the center and have found it to be a wonderful experience. Of course no center is going to be absolutely perfect, and I do agree that occasionally there are problems with the teacher to student ratios in the rooms or the occasional attitude of one worker I've seen. However, the majority of the workers truly seem to care about the children and to focus on doing what is best for them. My children LOVE going to the center every morning, they learn so much, and I feel comfortable leaving them in good hands each day. I have several other friends with children in the same center, and we've all been very happy with it. I would recommend it to others without hesitation.

I completly agree with you. This center has always been under staffed, and when it is fully staffed the director or owner would pull teachers out of class rooms to the clean the buliding ( like they couldn't pick up a vaccum or mop themselves) and leave other teachers out of ratio. I have witnessed this myslef and it has happend on more than one occasion. Also when they have interns who are suppose to be working in class rooms to get credit for High School they would have them clean the building instead of being put in a class which is what they are there for. Miss.Joanie and Miss. Berdie are very nice people depending on what mood they are in but they do treat their staff very horrible and their staff are under paid. Whenever I had a complaint and went to Ms. Berdie all she did was smile in my face and say anything she could to get me to shut up. It's all about money to them. They even move children to other class rooms just to get more infants in to make more money, and they don't care about the child they are moving up. Not to mention If it has just stopped raining outside they make the teachers go out on a soaking wet playground and the children get all wet and all Berdie or Joanie say is change them they should have extra clothes and they also have them out in freezing cold(by state laws it has to be 32 degress or above, but 32 is very cold but your child will be out there, I never seen Berdie or Joanie out in this weather for more then 5-10 minutes they are sitting in their offices behind a desk drinking coffee) and in hot heat (your child will be blood red sweating crying to go inside and they make them stay outside. They need to let the teachers make the decision when to go out and how long to stay out cause they are the one's outside and know not Joanie or Berdie. But to Berdie and Joanie everyday is a BEAUTIFUL DAY! In the summer they also don't put the air condition on until the late afternoon they children are constantly sweating all summer(they always said the air condition was broke, but they make so much money they should buy a new one). I am so glad my child is out of this center and I am still in contact with parents who still have children there and they said things haven't changed. This would be a very great center if Miss. Berdie and Miss. Joanie would change their ways. But for now I wont send my child back there.

I AGREE WITH EVERY SINGLE THING YOU WROTE! THIS DAYCARE HAS GREAT POTENIAL IF ONLY BERDIE AND JOANIE WOULD LEAVE. THE LAST COMMENT I ACTUALLY POSTED WAS DELETED BY THOSE TWO. SO WATCH IT BECAUSE THEY WILL TURN AROUND AND DELETE YOUR TO MORE THAN LIKELY. I BET THEY HAD PLENTY OF OTHER BAD REVIEWS BUT PROBABLY DELETED EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM.

Dear Former parent, Cleaning is only done if rations are met. High school students are not here for credit they are here for a job. Our AC has been broken during the summer months. We have had service men some and fix it and sometimes, yes, parts have to be ordered. It takes time. But to know that for Office of Childcare regulations, you do not have to ahve AC in a daycare. Of course we do and we use it. I am sorry you felt that it was not ever on. Former Parent, I do not recall you or anyone coming to my office to discuss your concerns? My door is always open.

I agree with the last comment. My husband and I are looking for care for our infant. We went to CCC in Annapolis Junction because its close to where I work. The center is beautful inside and out, but the price is so high. For an infant, the cost is 1245.00 a month which is a little over $300 per week. We are both working and have a mortgage and other bills. This daycare for our infant is actually more then our mortgage.

I think that the owners should look at lowering their prices a little bit and be more accomodating to the working parents. Its very upsetting to know that you want to enroll your child in a childcare, but due to the expense and cost, you can not. This is where I feel daycares have become a rip off and just charging so much for infant care.

Please consider lowering your prices for infant care.

Catherine Alot of people think $300 a week is alot for an infant. The reason is the ratio is 3 infants to 1 adult so the pay is greater. I worked childcare and infants for 14 yrs and alot of work is involved in caring for infants. Also most childcare providers such as nannies, if they come to your home and if person has alot of qualifications and alot of experience, most charge at least $500 week for 40 hrs. The staff or nanny that is keeping your child also has mortage and bills too. I know it seems like alot of $$ but is also alot of work and responsablities and most providers offer alot of love. good luck..
