User Rating: 5 out of 5 starsLast year my daughter and I attended the studios in the area dance recitals. Out of all the shows GJ's had an excellent competitive and recreational program. If you are considering signing up for class I recommend attending the annual recital in June. It was clear they had the best variety of talent and entertainment in the area as well as the most knowledgeable staff. Dances were appropriate, up beat and fun and most of all NOT OUT OF DATE! When I took my daughter to sign up in June the newly renovated facility was beautiful and staff was very helpful. Don't take my word for it, Attend the shows of the other studio's in Waldorf and Laplata, and the difference in the experience you will get for your money from GJ's is incomparable.

If you're looking for a dance studio for your young boy or girl, this is IT!!!
What a beautiful facility, I am told it was newly renovated this year. When I toured the studio the knowledgable secretary took my to the individual studios and explained all the different disciplines of dance that GJ's offered. I could tell by the fact that the most of the staff were dancers here earlier in there lives showed a loyalty and commitment I didnt feel at other studios. I attended the recital in June and was impressed by the sophisticated and innovative choreography demonstrated by both the recreational classes and the accomplished show troupe dancers. I could tell the performers were having a wonderful time dancing and had the full support of the staff and parents at Gj's. I have since learned that the show troupe dancers do extremely well in competitions - winning numerous awards for both performance and choreography...
So if youre looking to boost the confidence, body awareness and self esteem of your child.... GJ's is YOUR STUDIO.!!!!
