Newly renovated, but with the same menu, the Mixing Bowl is a cut above the normal fare found in Southern Maryland. The crowds at lunch are difficult, but the food is just as good after one o'clock. The chilled noodle salad with pork is memorable.
avoid lunch hour: My friends and I enjoy the cooking style of this place which maintains the integrity of ingredients, allowing the taste to come through accompanied by delicate flavors adding excitement but not overly masking the fresh grilled chicken, crunchy salads, creamy pasta alfredo and more. Avoid the base lunch crowd and come right at 11 a.m. or after 12:30 p.m.
