Jerry's Seafood Restaurant

Table 4-12 -- We had a very bad experience at the new one in Bowie. We arrived there at 3:30 and was not seated until 4:40p.m. on a Sunday. Even though they do not make reservations it was told to come around that time. There were other parties (smaller) being seated, but for some reason they wanted to sit us at this one particular table in which they could've accomodated us in another area. I then asked for the manager and was told he was going to tell me the same thing. I then explained to him of how long we have been waiting--he was a lil rude too but he assured us that he would seat us soon. We were there for my son's b-day celebration. Even though a cake was brought for my son we wanted to acknowledge his best friend's birthday also. I asked the waitress if she can bring him a slice of cake --She asked me if I had candles. She brings this uneven flat piece of chocolate cake and gives it to me when I pointed out to her who the other birthday person was. I would like to mentioned that the manager did give us free appetizer's of his choice (crab balls and shrimp) and the food is really good!! but how do you enjoy good food when the customer service is awfully??!. Customer service starting w/greeter-manager-waitress. What happen to good customer service ---Does it still exist???

Best Seafood in the DC/VA/MD area hands down!!!! I grew up in the MD area and my father is from the MD Eastern Shore...and I have to say Jerry's serves up the BEST in my opinion. When you go...you've got to try the Cream of Crab Soup and Jerry's signature, the "Crab Bomb". It's all crabmeat and no fillers. And the hot, home made yeast rolls are to die for.

The service is top notch, food always piping hot and the ambiance is a welcome distraction from other busy restaurants. Yeah, it's small, but it's very cozy. It's one of me and my husband's favorite spots.

Give Jerry's a try...if you're a seafood lover, you'll be glad you did.

The best seafood on the Chesapeake Bay...nothing better than some crab bisque followed by a crab bomb!

I grew up in MD, but moved to San Francisco a while ago. And while the bay area has great seafood, it doesnt compare to Maryland. Anytime my husband and I visit home, you can believe Jerry's is on the agenda. You want great seafood, definately make a reservation! I even have the crab bombs shipped out here for special occasions :)
