    Making a big splash: Forget "dive bar." This is a belly flop. However, that unusual atmosphere makes this one of my favorite bars. It has many selling points, one of those being the combo liquor store/bar (cf. someone else's review, thanks). I feel at home when I come here. There's no uppity sorority chicks, no thugged-out frat boys. Just good old, wholesome PG county people with no particular cares. I also like the random pool tables, pinball machine, jukebox and ONE small TV showing a game. Specials are frequent and posted all over the place. The booths are rickety and uncomfortable, not to mention made of rotted wood. Ahhh, I'm home.

    It has been over 23 years since I visited this place but I still have many fond memories. I learned about and purchased many "exotic" beers from this establishment. I dragged many friends from Cumberland and Chestertowne dorms to get a beer education!
