The music is great. The club has an odor, they need to replace the carpet and remodel the ladies restroom. They need to invest in the club, so they can attract a certain clientele. It would be nice people in PG and Charles Cty could have a nice upscale lounge in MD, so they wouldn't have to travel to DC. I would like to keep my money in the community. However Martini's is going down. Again either replace the carpet or shampoo it.
I went to Martini's 2wks ago on a Saturday with my girlfriends..I think it was a Kappa Convention that weekend in the DC Area...It was CRANKIN!!!..DJ Madman was OFF THA HOOK! I stayed on the dance floor the entire time.
I have visited Martinis on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nite and enjoyed every occassion. However, I must say I love Saturday nites w/DJ Madman. If you use to go to Ibex, then you already know what Madman can do.

When I want to hand dance locally, I go to Martini's. I also go to Tradewinds on Thursday evening. Martini's owner should consider cleaning up, repairing and remodeling the club. Tradewinds is much nicer- cleaner and without odors! I have to say, however, the food at Martini's is 1000% better than the food at Tradewinds. The DJ is also more friendly and willing to play requests and give customers information about the songs played.
I'm speaking of the DJ at Tradewinds (as being more friendly) not the DJ at Martini's. The DJ at Martini's acts as if he is doing the customers a favor by being there and as if he is not being paid to play. Remember, without the customers, there would not be a need for the DJ !!!!
