| About: | See a wireless telegraph, a telegram sent from the Titanic, a crystal radio built in the 1920s, the cathedral-shaped radios of the 1930s, post-WWII plastic portable radios, and, of course, television. You're sure to find something that will make you say, "We used to have one of those." Of particular interest to Washingtonians of the 1960s and 1970s are props and sound effects used by Willard Scott and Ed Walker, the "Joy Boys of Radio." Only the first floor is handicap accessible. |
