Will not go back. The end of Tony Roma's for me.: For the past twenty years Tony Roma's restaurant has been my #1 on baby back ribs. Three years ago food at Caguas, Puerto Rico restaurant was awfull I wrote a letter. I moved to Condado area which was best until last night we went. Service was poor, the onion rings were not breaded as usual. The baby back ribs were old, dried from freezer burned. I asked the waiter if the restaurant changed from owner, he said no, this guy didn't know how to treat people. Will never visit again Tony Roma's. The end for me and my family.
Ribs to stick to your ribs: First time I ate at a Tony Roma's was in LA California while in the military. The ribs were SO good! After I returned to DC in '93 I was disappointed that we did not have the restaraunt in the DC area. Imagine my surprise to find they had built one in Bowie near the town center. I just happened to stumble across it as I was going to the movies one weekend. It was a pleasant surprise.
Still waiting: I like Tony Roma's ribs. first time I ate at teh Bowie location I thought the service was very slow and the food ok. Today, I should have been smarter. There were very few cars out front. The wife and I waited for 20 minutes to be served in a half full restaurant. We left and went ot TGIF next door. Spend your money else where
