I will definitely take my car back for service. My '03 Jetta had a crack in the flex pipe, which is apart of the catalytic converter. This is a common repair and the part is under Federal warranty - 8 yrs or 80,000 miles. I was quoted a price with the understanding that if it was the converter I would not pay a thing towards that repair. I was assisted by a gentleman named Zach Ford who was very helpful and informative. Before I new it my tires had been rotated, my oil had beed changed and the catalytic convert replaced. They did try and sell me some extra services but I all that can wait. It's too costly to have all that done at once. I also had my brake lights replaced for a whooping $85. That was too much in my opinion. Overall, I would give the shop an A minus. Everyone was great and they honored the warranty without a hassle. I just did not like the costly brake light repair.
Bad service, very rude. I came into the dealership wanting to purchase a car. Was there for FOUR hours, they didn't even hand me a credit application until 2 hours later. I can understand if you're busy, but they attended to other customers that came in after I had. I repeatedly told the salesman I needed to get this done to go to work. They kept assuring me 15 more minutes. So I stayed. I was told an estimate of a monthly payment. I finally got into the financing room, and the monthly payment was $100 more than what was told to me. Being pressed to go to work, the bad service and misguidance on their part, I decided to not purchase the car. The manager then started to haggle me right then and there pressuring me to buy the car. I was pressed to get to work and didn't want to make any rash decisions when they could have negotiated a couple hrs before. I sat there humiliated while the manger just completely YELLED at me, telling me this is not how to buy a car. I ran out, appalled and in tears. I have never been treated so badly by a complete stranger.
I do not recommend any DARCAR dealership after reading all the BAD REVIEWS and having my own personal experience. I did however bought my car elsewhere.
This is the worse dealership service center I've ever dealt with. I did not buy a car there, but took my Jetta in when the passenger window stopped working (a well known problem with my model year VW. They fixed the window under extended warranty, and also did a recall fix of a problem with my heated seats. When I went to pick it up I found the feature that rolls the windows up/down with the key didn't work. I left them the car another day and the next day they called and told me I needed a new comfort module (CCM), which they could replace for about $600. I was argued with them because this feature was fine before they got their hands on my car. They said the problem with the windows was totally unrelated to the repair they had done (even though they repaired a window problem). Long story short, I sent about 6 letters all the way up their management chain and they all came back with the same answer. Towards the end they sent me a letter where they stated that the window repair they did included handling wiring that is connected to the comfort module, but continued to assert that the problem was not related to their repairs. They eventually offered me to fix the problem for 50% off, but I decided I don't trust them and they aren't getting another cent from me. Their mechanics are either incompetent and managed to fry my CCM during their repairs, or they are dishonest and messed with my car so I would come back for an expensive repair. This happened last August and I haven't fixed it yet. Now the window works sometimes, and the remote locks go in and out. A scan of the car's computer shows the CCM is bad. Probably fried during their repairs. I recommend you don't use this place unless you want to deal with incompetence or dishonesty.
